Beginner Bodybuilding – for Muscle Mass
A guide for beginners who want bigger arms, strength and muscle mass.
For a beginner weight and weight training isn’t the best thing to do because if you’ve just started or if you are starting again after a long time of absence then putting your weight onto your limbs and making them train it will only cause injury and it may cause an earlier plateau. You should want to let your body adapt to having weight being put on it and having it exercise your muscles which may have not been used as much earlier on.
The exercises for a beginner are: push-ups and pull-ups.
Obviously after a while this will get easier but that doesn’t mean that you have to start weight training. When these exercises get easier all you’ll have to do is change to a different variation of these exercises. After push-ups get easier then you can do ultra-wide push ups for a stronger and bigger chest. You can also do the diamond push-push ups or the short-grip push ups for your triceps.
When doing pull-ups become easy then you can do another variation by widening your grip and doing both an over hand or underhand. This means you can change which way your hand is facing, if you’ve been doing pull ups with your hands facing your face and your knuckles facing outward then you can try changing it by holding the bar with your hand facing outward and your knuckles facing your face. When you do an ultra-wide pull up, the musclesyou’ll be exercising more are your lats and your shoulders.

Thanks for the tip jc. I did increase my muscle mass using some body building techniques but I shifted to aerobics. I looked short with my big arms.
