Now that the spring is here, trade that treadmill or exercise bike in for an outdoor walk or jog. Public gardens and community gardens offer a change of scenery that will help revitalize your exercise routine and revitalize you.
Everyone gets bored with their exercise routine, and once you’re bored, you find reasons not to exercise, so you have to change your exercise routine from time to time to keep it fresh.
With the great spring weather and spring flowers and trees in full bloom, take a walk or jog in your local public garden or community garden.
More communities are forming community gardens for those who would like to grow fresh vegetables and flowers, but don’t have their own land suitable for gardening. Working, planting and caring for your own garden as part of a community garden is exercise in itself, so that will change your exercise routine, and provide you with fresh, homegrown vegetables.
If gardening is just not your thing, take a brisk walk around other’s garden plots to change your exercise routine. Enjoy the fresh spring air, the sights and the smells of fresh growing flowers and vegetables.
