Five Reasons Why Not to Take Weight Gainers
If you’re bored of long articles, here are five simple reasons.
- Too much fat. Fat is a hard substance to metabolize and if your metabolism slows down you will gain fat.
- Too much carbohydrates. Since weight gainers have too much fat the carbs come along with it.
- Too much calories. For a bodybuilder health is meant to be strict which means a certain amount of fat, carbohydrates, calories and protein but weight gainers have too many calories, too many carbs, too many calories.
- More calories than protein. Fact is; weight gainers have twice as many calories as protein and the point in protein shakes are to take a good amount of protein to help your muscles heal faster but this has twice as many calories as fat. That’s a lot of calories.
- You will pass your recommended intake. If you pass your recommended intake of calories, carbs and fat you will gain a fat stomach. Fact is that shedding stomach fat is a hard thing to do and it takes a long process because the fat reaches there first and leaves there last. Bodybuilders are also strict about health so they can get a good looking body or they can achieve their goal into getting a nicer looking body, this won’t happen if you’ve got a fat stomach. Looking at that will make you miserable.
