Get The Six Pack Abs Appeal
The appeal of six pack abs is undeniable. For some inexplicable reason hidden within the genetic makeup of people, the body’s abdominals definitely get much attention and desire if they are well-defined.

The abdominal muscles have lots of appeal. (Wikipedia image)
The abdominal muscles have been emphasized in many forms of art, like paintings and sculptures. Artists throughout the ages have had a thing for them even in the depiction of Biblical icons. Perhaps the most famous statue depicting the abdominals in all its glory is Michelangelo’s David.
Early in the Twentieth century, bodybuilding entered the public consciousness. It was most likely unknowingly popularized by circus strongmen and cartoon characters like Superman wearing tights. The movie industry capitalized on the appeal of bulging muscles in big screen adaptations of the stories of ancient Greek heroes like Hercules. Musclemen actors like Steve Reeves and Lou Ferrigno have played the muscled-demigod quite convincingly with their symmetrically sculpted muscles. Of course, it’s the abdominals that drew much attention.
After the video-game-turned-movie, 300, came out, the Internet was flooded by inputs of the search key words “Spartan abs” so much that blog posts containing those specific words received an unprecedented number of hits. It proved that there is a keen interest worldwide in knowing how to get chiseled abdominals. If the ancient Greek oracles in the movie existed today, people will likely be consulting them to know the secret to getting six pack Spartan abs.
In truth, we don’t need an oracle to tell us that the actors in the movie 300 had some help from the makeup department in getting their abs to look defined on film. Of course, you can always do the same and paint your belly to give the illusion that it has good and impressive abs, but since you’re not a cast member of 300, you’ll only look like a cheap polyethylene Spartan action figure with an airbrushed pot belly.
But enough of movie fiction. It’s high time we deal with the facts. Of all the muscles in the body, the abdominals almost always get to the top of the wish list of bodybuilders, fitness buffs, and models. Men want them; women like them; in fact, almost anyone who ever had love handles to clutch would die for them. But of course, if you don’t have six pack abs yet, then there’s the problem. You can, however, take consolation in that fact that the problem with getting great abs may not be that difficult to solve.
We’ve seen professional athletes who’ve gone soft and flabby get back in shape all the time for a competition after training for a few months. Boxers are quite good at this. With the strict weight limits they have to observe before a bout, their trainers have no choice but to turn the process of weight management into a science. Your mind might rationalize; I’m not a boxer, so their kind of training will not work for me. That might be correct, but by following a few specific guidelines and sticking to a habitual but healthy daily routine you can integrate in your normal waking life, you’ll discover that it’s not really that hard to get great-looking six pack abs in a short span of time. The appeal of six pack abs is undeniable. For some inexplicable reason hidden within the genetic makeup of people, the body’s abdominals definitely get much attention and desire if they are well-defined.

A very interesting post but I think I’ll pass on the six pack at my time of life. I’ll just try and lose the fat instead.

Diet is more important for great abs definition.. And it is not possible to carry a six pack all year round, as the diet should be very low on carbs and fats. Even bodybuilders, cut to their best shape during competition times. During off season they are not as perfect, although Huge.

We could all use six pack abs. Had some posting glitches initially, which is why a few paragraphs pasted twice. This is an excerpt from an ebook I wrote.

A well defined abs muscle will certainly enhance male’s attractiveness. But when one age’s the belly bulges. It cannot be helped, it’s a natural process.
