Heart Rate and Fitness
Stay fit with a Good Heart.
Did you guys know that your Heart rate can be an indication of your fitness level. Let me say this is not a concrete measure to evaluate fitness but I can say it is general indication.
Usually the lower resting heart rate indicates that you are fit – your heart is and doesn’t have to beat as hard to push the blood through your system. The faster the heart beat the more unfit a person usually is. Again this is not always true. There are many people who are very fit although their heart rate is pretty high. Also your heart rate will skyrocket when you lift heavy, but it recovers. The time that it takes to recover from the stress is also an indicator of fitness.
Generally speaking, a lower heart rate is much better than a higher one. It demonstrates the effectiveness and efficiency of your cardio system. The Cardio vascular exercises improve your heart efficiency. Running, Skipping, Swimming are some of the Cardio exercises you can indulge in if you don’t like going to a Gym.
