Most people I talk to about health and fitness talk about “getting in shape”. But I do not think they realize that their words were actually counterproductive to their aspirations to burn fat. You will hear many people complaining about being out of shape and said, “I need to get in shape and burn fat,” or, “I want to get in shape and burn fat.” What you do not hear them say is, “I want to get in shape, burn fat and stay that way.”

They may want to stay in shape, but their mindset is focused on getting in shape. This makes you more vulnerable to the latest diet and exercise gimmick on the market. You are so focused on getting in shape that you will try almost anything regardless of how silly or hard to follow because it will look, because you are totally focused on short-term goals.

A simple change in mindset “quick fix” to one of the long-term success will direct you to the right path. You will be less enamored by the late-night TV hype, and more focused on doing the right thing most of the time. Would not you agree that the length of healthy life and fitness is what is most important?

If you really want to change your physical and health for all, you should make it a lifestyle habit. And that starts in your mind. That’s what people are doing lean for life. In fact, if I think about all the people I personally know that are in excellent condition and has been for a while, I began to understand that they have their minds to stay in shape.
