How to Get Toned Quickly
Sometimes you get lazy and go months without exercising and then one day you wake up, look at yourself in the mirror and realize that you are starting to get flabby. Well it’s not too late there are a few exercises that you can use on a regular basis that will only take minutes and will get you looking toned and in shape in a few weeks.
Do push ups. Your PE teacher was right. Push ups are an effective means of getting your upper body toned and generally more effective and safer than doing bench press. The beauty of this exercise is that you don’t need to go to a gym or use any fancy equipment to do it and since you are just using your own body weight there is less of a chance for injury. Start with your back straight and your arms greater than should width apart and your legs spread. Lower your body until you almost touch the ground and push yourself up again. Try to start off with 10 -15 reps and increase from there. If you’d like to tone up your forearms as well try knuckle push ups.
Chin ups are probably the single most effective exercise for toning the upper body because it not only works your largest muscle group in your back, but your arms, chest and stomach all at the same time. Start with your arms more than shoulder width apart and your palms facing the bar and away from you. Pull your body up to the point where you chin is almost touching the bar. Start off with as many as you can do and work your way up to 10-15.
Incline sit ups. Everybody wants to have a lean toned sexy stomach. Doing incline sit ups is probably one of the quickest way to get one. Start with your legs up on the side of your bed. Left your torso up with your arms crossed against your chest. Make sure to breath in through your nose and out through your mouth. Try to do about 50 of these.
