Protein Shakes

These are how to pick out what sort of shakes you should be taking, specially for the active and the bodybuilder whom is working on strength and build.

I am against all supplements but protein powders are the only thing that I feel is actually useful for a bodybuilder or someone going into the gym regularly. First off, I’d like to clear the air first and explain that protein powders do not make you more muscular or give you a stronger build. Protein powders just give you enough protein to repair and rebuild your muscle when you have microtears after a long day in the gym. After microtears heal, you’re able to go to the gym once more and your arms get bigger, which is where the misconception usually comes from.

Protein shakes are great for bodybuilders as they heal the muscles a lot faster and can also be a meal replacement when you feel you aren’t eating your 4-7 meals per day because of the lack of space in your stomach. The more you eat, the more energy you’ll have, the bigger you’ll get and the stronger you get hence the fact that protein shakes are great for bodybuilders. Every bodybuilder needs their extra dose of protein but make sure you aren’t taking weight gainers, weight gainers will not work and will only make you fat.

This certain protein shake is plentiful in calories (which is needed) and protein and other rich needs for a bodybuilder so I suggest 100% Natural Whey. Use this as a food replacement so 2-3 everyday, depending on when and what you eat. Also if you’re taking this daily and happen to have microtears, your microtears won’t take 3-4 days to heal, actually they’ll probably take just 2 days to heal.

Good luck.
