Unique Ways to Get Your Body Toned and Ready for the Summer

Some unique and incredibly effective ways for people who want to tone up and get in shape for the Summer.

Ok, so the weather is already starting to warm up and you’re staring at yourself in the mirror wondering HOW you’re going to get toned up in time to hit the beach and wear the cute, flirty, summer clothes we all love so much. Sure, we all say we’re going to work out everyday and stick to a plan  …But let’s face it, after a while boredom sets in and no matter how much we want to keep the momentum going, we end up falling off the wagon. But Don’t Worry, There are PLENTY of fun ways to work out and tone up without falling victim to boredom or succumbing general laziness. Here are some of great ways to exercise that are creative and easy to do so you won’t get bored with routine and they provide great results really quickly.

  • The Flex Challenge. - This one is really easy …Can you flex your abs? your butt? pull your shoulders back? Challenge yourself to do this each time something happens. For example, flex your abs every time you walk through a door. Or if you’re driving, flex your butt every time you turn. Or you could even flex whenever you see a particular commercial on TV, you’d be surprised how many times they repeat. Get creative with it and have some fun.
  • Brushing Teeth Squats. - Hopefully, you brush at least twice a day LOL. While you’re brushing your teeth, you can do 2 minutes of squats, lunges, or wall-sits. That’s better than just standing there staring at yourself.
  • Just Dance. – There are soo many different ways to dance and no matter which one you choose to do, you’ll still get some great exercise. You can dance while you’re cleaning your room or whenever you have free-time. It’s great cardio exercise and it’s fun and easy to do.
  • Remember Jumping Jacks? See how many you can do during a couple of commercials while you’re watching T.V. it’s a productive way to help pass the time and it’s better than just sitting on your butt doing nothing.
  • Youtube Something New - There are millions of great videos on Youtube that can show you unique ways to exercise. I recommend looking up a Belly Dancing video. It really flattens your stomach works your abs in a great way. Plus it maintains feminine shape which is good, because no girl wants those blocky guy abs….eww.
