Weight Chart for Women
Do you know what your healthy weight should be? This chart will give you your correct weight for your height.
According to Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, Statistical bulletin
It is not a good idea to start loosing weight without exercising. Walking 30 minutes three or four times a week is a good way to start your exercise plan. You can start with 2 or 3 pound weights to exercise your arms, and do bends and stretches. Parking at the far end of the parking lot, and walking the stairs instead of taking the elevator is a good way to add more steps to your day. Cut back on meats, cheese, sweets, and other high fat foods. Use recommended size servings for the weight you wish to attain, add more vegetables and fruit to your diet, and you will be on your way to a healthy diet and a healthy body. The chart below is the correct weight for woman, according to the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company
Height includes shoes with one inch heels; weight includes three pounds of indoor clothing.

Ooh Ruby, I didn’t want to look at the chart but I did, and I think I need to lose some weight. I even don’t weigh myself with shoes on, and I do my weight-in first thing before I even have a cup of coffee and in my jammies. So I’m going off to make a walking chart. I shall reward myself with stickers.

It is nice to see a chart where I fit. I’ve seen others that just didn’t seem possible. Thanks for the info.

These Metropolitan Life tables became widely used for determining recommended body weights. The Metropolitan Life chart is organized by sex and body frame size and all the other charts are sex and age-graded except for the North American Association for the Study of Obesity, which lists weights by sex only.
