10 Awesome Energy Drinks

Energy Drinks. Some love them, most hate them, but all the cool kids and kids who think their cool kids drink Energy Drinks, here is a list of 10 + 1 quality Energy Drinks that are bound to get your ass in gear while still tasting great.

Crakshot

Crakshot, what does it mean? Well I’m not positive, but I’m sure you can come up with a few assumptions from the name alone. Don’t let the mobster skeleton get the best of you, Crakshot has a remarkbly tame flavor and is by no means fierce, but it does taste good and sweet, it’s flavor is some kind of lemonade with a hint of strawberry or something I couldn’t really tell. Crackshot has 120 – 140mg of caffeine. Don’t try to backpalm it by the way.

Mountain Dew – Amp

Amp, basically a more expensive can of Mountain Dew with a slightly different flavor and a higher content of caffeine, although it has more caffeine per ounce of liquid it’s cheaper in the long run to buy a case of Mountain Dew then to buy a truckload of AMP’s. Mountain Dew – Amp has 75mg of caffeine (normal) in comparison Mountain Dew has roughly 50mg of caffeine.

Jolt Cola

Jolt Cola, don’t be alarmed when you open this bad boy it makes a sound like it explodes but no worries it’s just carbonated so much that it could knock the Batman off his knees. Besides the awesome re-sealable can design Jolt Cola tastes pretty much like super carbonated cola with quite the dose of caffeine. A twenty three ounce can of Jolt Cola has 220mg of caffeine.

Mountain Dew – MDX

Mountain Dew – MDX. Massive damn-failure X pretty much this is the nasty version of Mountain Dew Amp, although I believe MDX came before Amp, Amp came along when Pepsi Co released how terrible MDX was I suppose. MDX has roughly 80mg of caffeine but has a nasty bitter after taste in my opinion.

NOS

It comes in the bottle seen above, and a wider plastic bottle, I can’t quite remember because I’ve only drank this once but it has a crisp citrus taste to it, and is quite sweet. Don’t try using this to power your car, not because it doesnt work, but because it would be a waste to not drink this it goes down so easily. NOS has roughly 250mg of caffeine in a 16oz can.

Rockstar (not GTA Rockstar, Rockstar as in Bono Rockstar)

Rockstar Pomegrante, definitely a personal favorite of mine, goes down smooth doesn’t make me crash hard and comes in a nice shade of bright orange. If you want to pretend your a Rockstar, this is your drink, or if you just so happen to be a Rockstar then stop gloating. Rockstar Juiced has 160mg of caffeine per 16oz.

Spike Shooter

Spike Shooter. Don’t worry, this is not one of Jigsaw’s latest deadly traps for you caffeine and body builder addicts, it’s just a really bruuuuutallll (as Metalocalypse would say) name for a really serious drink. I personally don’t like the taste, even though it’s good I just can’t drink them. Spike Shooter has a truckload of stuff in it, so read it’s supplement facts with care and it has a whopping 300mg of caffeine in a small 8oz can.

Boo-Koo Energy

Boo-Koo Energy comes in Original Citrus and wild berry, I’ve only had Wild Berry however and it tastes okay but as the name suggets, the overall caffeine in this drink will probably make you go boo koo as it has 360mg of caffeine in a 24oz bottle (thats quite a lot to drink however) this is a great drink if you need to stay awake for whatever reason, but if you need a party energy drink I’d honestly grab something else, maybe Rockstar  or …

Monster

Yeah, yeah I know Monster is a mainstream overused energy drink just like Red Bull (I hate Red Bull) but besides the sleek colors, 160mg of caffeine per 16oz and cool choice of text Monster tastes like liquid awesomeness, so much so I wish their was a soft drink version of Monster (if you know a soft drink that tastes like Monster, comment and tell me!) anyway as said before this has 160mg of caffeine and is a choice party drink.

FIXX

Everyones need’s their daily fix, of what? Dunno, but a daily fix of Fixx would probably cause you to crawel up the walls and give you an urge to jump from bulding to bulding like spider-man, or it might do severe damage to your heart seeing as it has a whopping

FIVE HUNDRED MG OF CAFFEINE. 500mg. Per 20oz bottle, not to mention, just like Spike Shooter is has a ton of other supplements this is a Body Builder energy drink and I’ve yet to taste Fixx.

You won’t find Cocaine Energy under it’s name anymore thanks to typical whining that “but kids will think cocaine is cool!” but you can find it under the name of No-Name/CENSORED or something like that, it’s had to change its name a few times. It has 280mg of caffeine per 8 – 9oz bottles I think, I never could get my hands on this since it was so rare, if anyone knows how it tastes leave a comment.
