A Good Way to Drink Healthy
We love to drink, but what is truly best for our bodies?
We all love to wake up and have a good cup of coffee or something that just plain wakes us up in the mornings, but is it healthy?
I’m a water drinker, I would normally drink nothing but water whether it’s day or night and even if I had a choice of soda’s or coffee! Water is the most basic drink of all. We got bored of water though because it just didn’t have good flavor and we needed something more for our bodies that can get us active like energy drinks, coffee, and vitamin water. Although coffee and other drinks do give us all the energy that we need, it also drains our systems and above all:

It’s putting very small amounts of “gunk” into our bodies! it may not be until we are around 70 or so until we start noticing its effects. Gradually over time, this gunk (which can range from different fats, sugars, etc) will build up in our systems and eventually can cause a wide variety of problems from improved likeliness of heart failure (energy drinks) to strokes and other health related problems (sodas, slushies, hot chocolate, alcoholic beverages, and milkshakes). Vitamin water and plain water I would normally go for when it comes to physical exercises and daily routines (spring, filtered, and natural water, not spicket water). Fruit drinks usually have hidden sugars in it that would normally not be on the label or if they were on the label it can be in a very very small amount (some companies would tend to “fool” people into believing that their product is much better than others). It also depends on where you get your water, so if you get your water from a lake, water fountains, streams, or a well that is near structures like power plants, houses, schools, busy cities, and others then it could be tainted water (if obtained through a spicket). Here’s two ways to prevent this:
- Most often and best approach: use a filter! I use one every day and it’s also good to clean it once or twice every week.
- You can buy bottled water! it is much cheaper than regular soda’s and other drinks (depending on were you buy it from). The difference in different bottled waters is the amount of minerals in each one. Spring water can be drastically different from regular bottled water because they add minerals to it to make it healthier and give it a bit more “natural” taste. Bottled water is water that has been cleaned period, its taste will make most people choose to get vitamin water or something else to drink. If you do choose to drink water the most best method, by healthiness standards, is to drink it while it is bland (not warm or cold), for it puts less stress on the digestive system.
You might be surprised when one day you might wake up and have a glass of water for a change that it’s actually something that will help out your day!, even if it happens to be vitamin water! (one of the reasons the world is losing water is because people like to bottle it is to store it away for safe keeping, sales, and to be prepared for when they really need it!)

- Hot chocolate may just be hot water, but it’s the chocolate in it that would normally be the problem (along with it being a little too hot!)

- Orange juice is (through my own opinion) the best drink, other than water, to start your day! It’s something that would definitely wake you up with its tangy taste and being packed with Vitamin C!
