Cinnamon – No Home Should be Without This Spice
In 2007 when writing my intro to spices I found spices fascinating. Did you know a study found that the aroma of cinnamon could cause male arousal? What else can cinnamon do?
While researching for Spice Your Way to a Healthier Life | Healthmad I became fascinated with spices. Because of the nutritional and health benefits found in many spices we are finding many of them popping up in supermarkets, drugstores and health food stores as supplements. That is a small indication of the important role spices can play in improving our health. Three spices I take regularly are turmeric (Turmeric TKOs Motrin), ginger (The Many Health Benefits Provided by Ginger Root) and cinnamon.
Today let’s take a closer look at cinnamon:
· Fragrant
· Tasty
· Nutritious
· Healthy
· Anti-fungal
· Carminative
· Aphrodisiac
· Boosts circulation
· Relieves tension
· Antiseptic
In the popular*blog written by and for dog lovers the writer advises several reasons to include cinnamon in your dog’s daily diet as well as your own:
· Brain health
· Circulation
· Vitality
· Cognitive function
· Digestive aid
· Assists with dairy
· Stops painful menstrual periods
· Remedy for flatulence
· Reduces nausea
· Remedy for diarrhea
