Emotional Wellness

Some components of emotional good health.

Taking care of one’s emotional health is so vital. It encompasses many aspects of nurturing our bodies to preserve a balance for daily living. When we are happy, secretions of endorphins contribute to attaining some of that balance. While we rest and sleep, all of our organs are given refreshment to carry on routines.

Even the foods we like and consume play a role in emotional good health. The nutritional value alone can add or detract from our well being, which is a well known fact. I am mentioning consumables because they also are to be considered for energy, stamina and a feeling of being satisfied , which are signals sent to the brain for calculation.

To prove this to yourself, try eating some other foods when you truly desire a particular item. Your emotions might trigger annoyance that you did not eat what you prepped to receive.

“Attitude” is a huge component in ones mental state. This broad word brings not only what we think, but also how we react to what is in our lives. The loved ones around us either add or inhibit healthy feelings as do friends and pets.

A true balanced emotional life style includes some form of recreation or hobby with some work. The work might be house cleaning, yard chores and numerous other forms.

This is only touching of the iceberg for some of the ingredients of taking note of what is included in keeping emotionally well.

  1. Excellent – and it is funny – how when we desire a certain food that we try to eat something more appealing to our health’s eye. When consuming the healthy item – we are irritated but during the consumption, but then we realize, or at least I realize I will feel better for making a smarter choice.
