Eye Exercises for Eye Care
Dr. Bates who restored A. Huxley’s vision when it completely lost, originated the classic eye exercise known as palming. so let’s go and know about eye exercise.
Palming
Cup your eyes with the palms of your hands. Your hands must not touch your eye lids. Close eyes and remain that way’ until you begin to realize a clear, black screen.
- Blinking is good as it refreshes your eyes. The natural cleanser of the eye being a tear film that spreads across the cornea, blink whenever you care.
- If you are exposed to reading and writing for long hours, try blinking and relaxing your eyes. Change the range of focus and Hold a pencil ten inches away from your eyes. Look at it and then look past it, preferably to the end of the room. Repeat atleast ten times to feel the strain vanishing.
- Turn your head from side to side and Eye glasses are in Boom.
- There are great new shapes that have set the trend for elegant fashion eyewear. If you have got ‘eye glasses’ prescribed, do not despair. Of late, eyeglasses can enhance your looks and not rob you of your looks. Today’s eyeglasses are fashion accessories as well as visual aids. Even the strongest prescription for eyeglasses can be fitted into the latest fashion shape as the sides are ground to accommodate them.
- While selecting frames, always bear in mind that the size of your frame must more or less correspond to the size of your face. In other words, large frames will not suit small faces and vice versa.
- Recommended – Invest in two different shapes of eyeglasses. Keep a classier one for evenings and special occasions. Consult your ophthalmologist atleast twice a year.
