Fight Bad Breath

How to keep your mouth from smelling horrible.

Imagine this: You’re talking to your friends. One of the friends frown and walks away. You realize you haven’t brushed your teeth this morning.

Bad breath is very unpleasant and embarrassing. Bad breath is caused by many things

  • Leftover food stuck in your mouth
  • Poor oral health
  • The types of food you eat
  • Inadequate saliva

When you eat something, it can get stuck between your teeth or anywhere else unnoticeable in your mouth. When bacteria starts breaking down the food, it emits a foul odor. The process is similar to decaying food or corpses.  The best solution is to floss and brushes your teeth after every meal. Flossing will get rid of the food particles stuck in your mouth. The tongue is the most favorite spot for bacterias to camp on. Make sure you brush your tongue well when your brush.

Bad breath is also emitted out of ones mouth when a person does not take care of ones oral health. This furthermore proves that brushing your teeth is important.

When you go on a date at a restaurant, choose the right food because some foods can give you odor strong enough to wilt a flower. Avoid strong tasting foods such as, garlic, onions, liver, alcohol, etc…

Saliva is mouthwash produced by your body. Dry mouths are often the cause of bad breath. It is recommended you go to a doctor for this problem.

To sum up, these steps will help you banish foul odor from your mouth

  1. Brush, floss, and take care of your mouth
  2. Avoid strong tasting food  
  3. Drink lots of water
  4. Chew a piece of sugarless gum (Cinnamon recommended) or chew on some parsley
  5. Get a new toothbrush every 4 months
  6. You can try mouth wash but it will only work for a short period of time
  7. Add some carbs to your diet
  8. try breathing with your nose instead of your mouth
  9. Do not smoke
