It is that time of the year where we celebrate with firework displays. They are very beautiful and fun to watch. Did you know that fireworks may aggravate your health or health conditions? It is caused by the pollution of fireworks.

Fireworks produce a lot of smoke and heavy metals and also toxic chemicals. It has even been reported that firework residue can be harmful to waterlife. Pollution from fireworks raise many health concerns. For people with asthma the fireworks present the problem with smoke that will aggravate the condition. Fireworks are also harmful to the environment because they contain many heavy metals, chemicals, and combustion gases. This known to contribute to acid rain. Acid rain can cause damage to crops and property damage. After fireworks explode they leave behind nondegradable plastic. In many countries these are some of the reasons why the sale and use have been restricted. Some states in the United States have restricted fireworks under the Clean Air Act. The Clean Air Act enacts laws that allows the prevention and control of outdoor air pollution. In the United States the laws vary widely from state to state. Some manufacturing companies here in the United States are teaming up with manufacturing companies in China research, reduce, and try to eliminate the harmful pollutants in fireworks. Safety is another major concern about fireworks. They have been known to cause numerous injuries and many accidental fires. There have been many complaints about loud noise and debris falling of the air. If you have fireworks for your New Year celebration please be aware of the things I have mentioned.
