Gallstones
All about gallstones and how to recognize symptoms.
The Gallbladder is a small sac on the underside of the liver. The liver produces a greenish brownish liquid known as bile; it’s this liquid that’s stored in the gall bladder. The Bile is then passed into the intestines though the bile ducts where it will help with the digestion (usually fats).
What are the Symptoms?
The symptoms of Gallstones can be very painful. Sharp and in spasms, it can go on from just a few minutes to an hour or more, the pain is in the right side below the rib cage, it is quite common to have a fever with it, you may also experience a swelling in the abdomen, jaundice, (this means your skin may turn yellow), pain could also occur when taking in a breath in the upper right abdomen.
WHAT ARE GALLSTONES
gallstones are hard pieces of stone-like material which is made from the cholesterol this is made up from calcium billirubinate (mineral similar to chalk), calcium carbonate (chalk) or a mixture of both, this is caused when the chemical balance of the bile has to much cholesterol in it, The bile will then form into small particles which will possible grow into gallstones.
Reasons why gallstones may occur:
You have a Family History of gallstones.
Your gallbladder maybe blocked, or infected.
If your bile contains to much cholesterol.
Also said to be connected with Gallstone symptoms are: diabetes, pregnancy, weight gain or weight loss. Many of the symptoms can mislead, they are not always connected with gallstones (cholelithiasis)

t isn’t unknown for gallstones to be discovered by accident while for instant having a scan or x-ray. If they have been inside you with no problems just leave them where they are, time to deal with them is when they give you pain.
Having your gallstones and gall bladder removed is a pretty straightforward operation and is today mostly dealt with by keyhole surgery. Many of the people who have had their gallbladder removed will complain of a bloated feeling or indigestion.
But the majority will continue to eat normally without problems.

I have gallstone surgery. I can tell you it’s no fun at all. I’m fine now. Good write-up.
