This is a guide for the number of sit ups you should be able to do based on your age.
Males and females should be able to do the same amount of sit ups. With any difference being less than 3 so I will only discuss age groups in this article.
From 0 to 2 you are not allowed to do sit ups because they will hurt you.
From the age of 3 to the age of 5 you should be able to do 6.
Kids aged 6 to 10 should be able to do at least 23 sit ups.
11-14 year olds should be able to 35.
15 and 16 year olds should be able to do at least 50 sit ups.
From the age of 17 up every one should be able to do 60 sit ups.
If you can make sit ups fun you will never have to worry about finding another ab exercise because the bottom line is that sit ups work. People might hate them but they work your abs and they can be a lot of fun.
The abs can be worked on every day because they are twitch muscles. This means that they heal faster than other muscles.
