How to Brew a Healthy & Tasty Cup of Green Tea

Brewing a pot of green tea doesn’t have to be a time consuming or complicated if you follow certain guidelines. Here are some suggestions for brewing the perfect cup of green tea:
To maximize the health benefits of green tea, brew your tea using loose green tea leaves. You’ll get a higher quality cup of green tea with a better taste as well as a higher amount of antioxidants when compared to using tea bags
If you use tea bags, give your tea bag maximum room to move during the steeping process. Use a large ceramic or glass teapot with lots of open space for maximum movement. This helps to give the best taste and maximum antioxidant content.

Use one teaspoon of loose green tea leaves for each 8 ounce cup of
hot water.

contain most of the caffeine. Add more hot water to your green tea
leaves as you normally would. Your green tea should now be 80%
caffeine free.
