Yes, it is possible to live to be 100 years old and not confined to a wheelchair. Longevity is a topic on the minds of many people today, especially Baby Boomers, who are looking to their future. The secrets to long life maybe very simple and not attached to taking 35 vitamins or supplements a day.
Here is a list of 10 ways to live longer and be mentally sharp, physically active and engaged in an energetic life—not a life only experienced from a chair or bed.
1. Eat a fish and vegetarian diet, which means you must eat frsh fruit and veggies when possible and a variety of such items weekly.
2. Spend 1 hour each day doing cardio and strength training exercise. This means activities such as swimming, bike riding, walking/hiking, aerobic exercise.
3. Take 30 minutes each morning to meditate and do stretching exercises. Practicing Yoga or Tai Chi is a great way tp experience spiritual moments of quiet and peace while keeping the body moving.
4. Drink at least 10 glasses of pure water a day. This means the carbon filtered non chemical type of water or maybe real spring water.

5. Do not watch the nightly news; it can cause depression and anxiety. Read books and uplifting magazines.
6. Develop creative hobbies such as music, painting, drawing or other crafts.
7. Cultivate an interest in Math or Word Games. This can include crossword puzzles or suduko type games that keep the brain learning.

8. Eat blueberries, strawberries, blackberries and raspberries everyday! Why? They inhibit the growth of cancers and restore antioxidant levels in the cells. Blueberiies it seems can also help keep the brain healthy and protect against urinary infections.
9. Drink plenty of fresh squeezed fruit juice, with the pulp. This means fruit juice other than citrus, which includes: mango, pineapple, pomergranate, apple and papaya. You can drink fruit juice mixed with water 1/2 to 1/2 concentrate which will help make the juice last longer and enhance your fluid intake of pure fluids free of chemicals.

10. Eat many green veggies weekly: broccoli, spinach, kale, cabbage, green peppers, asparagas, green beans. Think green — Live green –Eat green and live long and prosper!
