Tips to prevent plaque.
Plaque which is also called as Tartar (severe form of plaque) is a soft and sticky substance that gets accumulated on the teeth that are acquired from food debris and bacteria. If not treated in the early stage, plaque can cause damage to your gum and can cause cavities too.

Here are few ways to prevent plaque.
1. Brush Regularly – A very common and basic thing you should perform daily on your life. Brushing twice, morning and evening of a day is a must to keep plaque away from your teeth.

2. Cleaning the tongue – Scrap with smooth bristles or tongue scrapper to remove the deposits on your tongue. This could lead to plaque, if not cleaned often.
3. Clean between teeth – Using floss. It is good to remove food particles between teeth, to avoid plaque forming. But beware, too much of floss using may sometimes lead to the gap between your teeth.

4. Use Fruit of the Earth Aloe Vera Gel as your paste – This is in addition of your brushing. Once in a while, you can brush with this gel as it helps to reduce plaque and also heals your gum from its previous problems.
5. Use mouthwash regularly – Hydrogen peroxide mixed with water is a good mouthwash. But don’t swallow it.

6. Regular dental checkups – Visit your dentist at least once in a year, even if your teeth are too healthy. Else, you may need frequent visit in future.

Here are few Diet tips to prevent plaque
1. Eat healthy foods like fruits and green vegetables.
2. Calcium rich foods like milk, curd will make your teeth stronger, so plaque cannot destroy it so quickly.
3. According to the Dow Institute of Dental Studies at the University of Iowa, eating about 5 grams of cheese before meals eliminates the acid production of plaque.
4. Avoid sweets. They weaken your teeth enamel. If you take sweets, brush and clean immediately.
5. Drinking lot of water helps to wash plaque and keeps your teeth and your body healthy.
6. Drinking black tea inhibits the bacteria that cause plaque and acts as natural fluoride.
