A gentle way to strengthen stomach muscles is to pull them in as you breathe out, hold hem in for a few seconds, then relax. Try do this as often as possible. But if you have had a cesarean, you wont be ready to start the exercise for your stomach muscles in week one, and the week two daily routine, until much later after birth. Check with your doctor first before practicing these exercises, and stop if you feel pain.
