You open your eyes, feeling rested, yet alert, full of optimism and energy for the day ahead. After that, everything is a breeze, and, it is all because you’ve had a great night’s sleep. For most of us, this barely happens.
Enjoy your dreams, Your mind is full of worries, you feel stressed, even when you are asleep. Work stress, can keep you awake, or financial situations, because people are aware of their worries even when they are asleep.
Replace the worry that’s stuck in your brain with something less intrusive. Fall asleep instantly, you are awake for half an hour before you fall asleep, this causes insomnia, the sleep stealer.
Once you are sleeping ninety per cent of the time, you can go to bed fifteen minutes earlier, and, build up time from there.
Restrict, coffee at night , heavy meals too, can disturb your sleep. An extra two hours at weekends is a natural way to repay sleep debt.
Stop the snores, lose weight, give up alcohol, or sleeping pills. Get enough sleep. If, you sleep for less than six hours a night, you are at a greater risk, of heart disease, diabetes, and stroke.
