Do not intake caffeine from soda or coffee at least two hours hours before bed because it is a stimulant and will not make you relax.
Do not not talk about stressful subjects before your bed time such as health, bad family member, or finances. These are stresses to deal with when the brain is at optimal function.
Just seat and breath one half hour before sleep so that the body and can start to get in a relaxation state.

Maintain the consistency for example going to bed every night at 11:00 p.m
Try to visualize the delta wave. It is a is small to medium curve on an EEG which measure brain function. Make sure that you do this right and the curve will look right and be positive.
