Tea and It’s Health Benefits

Tea have many healt benefits too.

The tea has existed for hundreds of years. The leaves are from the small evergreen tree in Asia called Camellia sinensis. The leaves are dried and go through different processes to be use as a hot beverage. These beverages can be served any time of the day with a biscuit or a sandwich. There are many teas that has been developed and discovered around the world, but it was the Chinese people who discovered the medicinal values of it.

Due to the different variety of teas, they have been divided into six categories. The Black, Green, Oolong, White, Pu-erh and herbal tea.

 Black tea’s health benefits includes: improving functions of the arteries, reduces heart attack and stroke risks, prevents tooth decay and also helps lower cholesterol levels. It also helps fight cancer and it boosts your metabolism which causes weight loss.

Green Tea is the most famous tea because of its many health benefits. It is especially used in the weight loss products. It is an antioxidant so it fights cancer causing bacteria. If you have a headache, a cup of tea will help you eliminate it. The other health benefits of the green tea are that it lowers cholesterol and blood pressure, and it controls blood sugar levels. It makes your teeth healthy as it prevents from having cavities and it is also good for digestion. It is also helpful if you are experiencing arthritis and it gives you a healthy cardiovascular system. Green tea extracts burns more calories resulting in weight loss. However, drinking too much green tea may result in insomnia due the caffeine in the teas.

The herbal teas are sweet and they have many different kinds. Amongst them are the Jasmine and Chamomile. These can help if you are having motion sickness, nausea, and dizziness. Herbal tea can help you relax, helps the cardiovascular system, calm the nerves, good when you have colds and stomach problems. The rooibos tea has more antioxidant than the green tea and it is also good for aiding digestion.

The White Tea has more antioxidant as the leaves were not processed unlike the green tea. White tea however is good for the skin and the complexion, it has less caffeine, and it helps the immune system. White tea is also the expensive kind of tea.
