The Good for You Fruits

There are a lot more fruits and vegetables and herbs that are very good for you and helps aide in maintaining good health but there are three fruits that come to mind that are extremely benefical.

Eating the right amount of fruits and vegetables can add to the quality of health to our life. There are two fruits in particular that are good for fighting off infections and boosting our immune system. Cranberries and pomegranates are extremely good for infections. Cranberries and known to help with urinary tract infections as well as other types of infections. Pomegranates are good for making your immune system stronger.  In fact drinking a glass of juice that has both cranberries and pomegranates combine every morning can not only give you added energy but aide in help keeping well.

Another one we don’t think of that often is an herb that is used quit often in a lot of foods and that’s garlic. Garlic is another good one for helping to fight off infection.  Blueberries are good for helping in keeping the immune system strong they are loaded with antioxidants.

One of the best ways to get these in our diet is by adding juice or a smoothie in our morning routine and try having an italin dish for supper at least once or twice a week. The reason for italin is because alot of these foods have garlice in them.

blueberry smoothie

1 cup of fresh/frozen blueberries

1 cup of blueberry yogurt

1 cup of skim/low fat milk

1 cup of ice

Pour everything into a blender, mix well and serve.

Super easy cranberry pomegranate juice/slushy

1 cup of fresh/frozen cranberries and pomegranates

1 cup cranberry juice

1 cup of ice

pour everything in blender and mix well (if slushy Constancy is desired mix until it begins to thicken). 

Super easy Bow tie pasta

1 box of bow tie pasta

1 can of diced tomatoes

1/2 cup of chopped onion

1/2 cup of chopped green peppers

2 TBSP of garlic

In a sauce pan over medium heat bring water to a boil and reduce heat add pasta and salt and let cook for about 10 minutes.  While pasta is cooking in another sauce pan add tomatoes,onion, green peppers and garlic let this simmer for about 10 minutes. After pasta and sauce is cooked combine together and enjoy.
