The Life Saving Abilities of Our Favorite Morning Drink

     It probably sounds crazy to state that coffee is actually a very useful drug for fighting certain illnesses, but in fact it really is. Coffee has some great health benefits that many people are not aware of.

     Scientific research has proven that coffee raises your mood, prevents headaches, lowers the risk of diabetes and colon cancer, and lowers the risk of getting cavities! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been told “Don’t drink too much coffee. It will rot your teeth out, and age you faster.” After growing up hearing that, it came as quite a shock to discover all of these amazingly beneficial health benefits of coffee.

Coffee reduces the risk of many diseases:

     Harvard researchers found that people who drank 1 to 3 cups of coffee every day, lowered their risk of diabetes by less than 10%. Now bump that up to 6 or more cups a day: Men’s diabetes risk was more that sliced in half, and women’s was cut down 30%. Furthermore, studies have shown that drinking only a couple of cups of coffee a day are up to 80% less likely to get Parkinson’s disease and 25% less likely to get colon cancer. These are the most strongly proven diseases coffee battles. Several other diseases are possibly fought with coffee though.

So what is the secret ingredient?

     Caffeine! Coffee is LOADED with caffeine. Guess what else is loaded with caffeine? Excedrin, along with several other effective pain medications. Caffeine is directly related to the headache prevention, and is also been said to help with asthma control. Caffeine boosts alertness, athletic ability/strength. Coffee in fact, has been shown to possibly even make a person stronger, by strengthening their muscle contractions. Coffee has very positive effects on the mind and body.

The Bottom Line

     The point is this; The more coffee you drink, the healthier you are, and the more athletic you are. There are much more helpful effects of coffee than harmful effects. Science proves it. So the next time someone tells you not to drink coffee, you can let them know the truth of the matter.
