Tips to Improve Brain Memory
There are lots of effective ways to stop memory loss or get better your memory.
You are not quite confident how to improve brain memory. You are either losing your memory, experiencing those forgetful moments, or just want to avoid future loss of memory. There are lots of effective ways to stop memory loss or get better your memory.
Below are some helpful tips that anybody experiencing memory loss should start with first. Do not ignore them. Also, remember that of all the strategies for improving brain memory the following are the most difficult. But it will only get easier after this.
Avoid Alcohol
One of the first things everyone should execute who is suffering from memory loss, or is genetically influenced to memory loss or dementia, is to significantly reduce or totally eliminate all consumption of alcohol.

Alcohol kills brain cells, pure and simple. Give your brain a break and stop consuming alcohol, or at least significantly.
Healthy Diet
Oxygen and sugar works as the fuel for the brain. Without these things brain cannot function perfectly. If you are depriving your brain of sufficient amounts of oxygen and sugar than no wonder you are experiencing some loss of your memory. Do not depend on sugar from grains and processed white sugar.

These are bad for your body. The best mode to obtain sugar to your brain is to eat lots of fruits and vegetables. Walking on a daily basis is a great method to keep your circulation system and your brain full of oxygen.
Brain Exercise
Start a daily habit of completing number or word puzzles every day. They are really the backbone of every memory improving program. Almost all newspapers have a crossword puzzle every day.

Any puzzle that you find in a typical puzzle book will be really helpful to improving your brain power.

There are multiple pillars to improving brain health … eating a healthy diet, getting physical exercise, staying emotionally and socially engaged, and challenging your brain. Crossword puzzles, unfortunately, do not work. From an NIH-funded study “The results provide no evidence to suggest that amount of crossword puzzle experience reduces age-related decreases in fluid cognition … ” You can read the results here http://bit.ly/4hNOip
Why is challenging your brain in the right way important? Because learning new stuff re-wires your neurons and improves brain performance at any age. So whether you want to improve your ability to learn a language or remember new friends’ names, you can do it. The next step is to take action.
People tell me they want to do something for their brain that “works”. Posit Science, where I am CEO and Dr. Mike Merzenich is Chief Science Officer, makes scientifically-validated and engaging software that can help you think faster, focus better and remember more. Over 30 clinical studies from institutions like the Mayo Clinic and Johns Hopkins show that our technology can have a range of benefits from improved memory to lowered health care costs to improved driving safety.
