Tips to Reduce the Strain on Your Eyes
The tips which you can follow to reduce the strain on your eyes.
1. Place a cool compress over your eyes and lie down and relax for a few minutes, especially if your eyes are feeling tired after working for long hours on the computer
2. Keep your eyes moist. Use artificial tears if your eyes are excessively dry, but avoid eyedrops meant to be used for another purpose.
3. Blink frequently- it’s a good exercise for tired eyes.
4. Wear sunglasses when out in the sun
5. Make sure your computer monitor is positioned 18 to 30 inches from your eyes and check for monitor glare.
6. Do eye exercises to strengthen the muscles surrounding the eyes.
7. See an optometrist if you think you need glasses.
8. Check your eyeglass or contact lens prescription. Continuing eyestrain may be an indication that it needs to be updated.
9. Take the herb eyebright as a tea or in a capsule. Also use eyebright tea as an eyewash.
10. Supplement your diet with vitamin A and 50 to 100 mg of vitamin C a day.
11. Sleep a sufficient amount at night. Fatigue puts extra strain on your eyes.

Great tips..My eyes suffer from dryness, and I had to use eyedrops throughout the day.
