Tooth Decay and Cavities
The worst thing you may ever experienced, tooth decay.
There is nothing worse than having a continual toothache.Teeth are the integral part of our face that enhance our personality and helps us in biting and chewing our food. So dental care should be one of the primary area of concern for every individual right from childhood till the old age. Often people suffer from several dental problems like bad breath, cavities, gum diseases ,tooth sensitivities, tooth erosions etc . But most common among all these is cavities. Tooth decay and cavities are most common type of dental anomalies.
Basically cavity refers to the hole in the tooth due to decay. The sticky substance that forms on teeth is known as Plague. The food we consume contains sugar and starches .When Plague combines with sugar/starches , it attacks the tooth enamel and decay occurs because this combination produces acids that attack tooth enamel. That is why we are always suggested to brush twice a day and a regular dental check up .One can also avoid tooth decay by consuming food containing less amount of sugar and by avoiding some eatables like candies , chocolates etc. Often our dentist suggests us to use tooth paste containing fluorides. Fluorides play a vital role in reducing cavities and tooth decays.
Basically fluoride is a type of mineral that occurs naturally in all water resources. Studies have proved that fluoride helps in reducing cavities in people of all ages and is safe and effective if used properly. It is said that the proper use of fluoride has significantly reduced tooth decay over the past few decades.
Fortunately there are some other very easy methods of avoiding cavities like flossing (using dental flosser) is the best way to remove food debris from in between the teeth. Also ,using a mouth rinse after brushing or eating can aid in cavity prevention and even chewing certain sugarless gums can actually help to prevent cavities by increasing the flow of saliva in our mouth.
So next time think for a while before eating and keep your teeth healthy and free from cavities.

\”Basically fluoride is a type of mineral that occurs naturally in all water resources.\”
This is an ignorant and incorrect claim. You are trying to tie together organic fluoride and ionic fluoride. Organic fluoride makes calcium fluorapatite and that is what helps teeth and bones. This DOESN\’T occur in all natural water resources, it does have occurrence in food, protein bound.
Ionic fluoride on the other hand is a waste product from several production sites, it is added to our water. It DOESN\’T make calcium fluorapatite, thus it doesn\’t help us. There are zero studies proving ionic fluoride\’s benefits. There are studies proving calcium fluorapatite is needed for our bones, but as I just said, ionic fluoride doesn\’t form this compound.
Furthermore, ionic fluoride has been proven unsafe and very dangerous for young children. You should NOT use fluoridated toothpaste with young children under the age of six.
Good tooth care is important, and a very good baking soda mixture is just as effective as other methods. The main thing necessary is to get rid of backup. Our mouths will do the rest, it has so for thousands of years (the refined and processed foods are difficult, hence why brushing is needed, but all that is needed is just to break it up). Brushing right after food is the best thing to do, and fluoride isn\’t necessary but can be helpful. On the other hand, ionic fluoride in the water systems is completely off the chart and incredibly bad for health with null proven benefits.
Oh, and on another note, chronic acute pancreatitisis far worse and far more painful than nearly all other illnesses. Of course, you have to be the unlucky few who get it
