Carrying Oxygen to The Body
The process of carrying oxygen to the different parts of the body.
Have you ever wonder how oxygen carried in the body trough the blood? The oxygen will not just float in the blood. The oxygen is carried through the red blood cells. This red blood cells gives the blood its red color. It float in the plasma, the watery part of the blood. In the times that the red blood cells carries an oxygen, the color of this cells are bright red. After having pass the oxygen to other body cells, the bright red color becomes dark red.

The red blood cells going to the lungs are ready to pick up oxygen while red blood cells that leaves the lungs carries much oxygen.
Blodd vessels in the body carries the blood to our heart. The heart then pumps the blood to a large blood vessels called the artery. The artery divides into smaller arteries which further divides into capillaries, they are tiny blood vessels with very thin walls.

Every part of the body has many capillaries, and if all capillaries will be laid and connected, it could make up a thousand kilometers long.
From the lungs, oxygen is transported by the blood into different parts of the body.
