Creating a Spa in Every Home
If your busy summer schedule has you feeling wired, relax with this home spa tips.
Craving total relaxation? The secret, is to cater to all five senses of your body: taste, touch, sight, hearing and smell. But first, find a private sanctuary in your own home where you’ll feel comfortable. Think bedroom, garden, bathroom or gazebo. Once you’ve picked your spot, follow these tips to create the perfect spa atmosphere.

SIGHT
Decorate your area with fresh flowers in water-filled glass bowls. Or sprinkle petals on the floor and around your bed. The goal is to bring the outdoor feeling inside to remind you of the beauty of nature. Take those candles you’ve been saving for special occasion, and light them up. candles create a soft atmosphere in any room instantly.
SMELL
Mix about 3 to 5 drops of your favorite essential oil with a tablespoon of water then place in your favorite burner (make sure to use tea lights). You can also use essense sticks or scented candles.
SOUND
Pop your most relaxing CD on the player. Try classical music or sounds of nature. Personally, I love the sound of water to give me that calm feeling.
TOUCH
Prepare your softest robe, fluffiest towels and bath slippers. Then try some of at-home treatments for your face, feet and body.
TASTE
Have a pot of hot herbal tea on your side table as you unwind. Not to keen on the taste of tea? Add a teaspoon of sugar.

CP, i’m not like the average, guy, man. I’m into loctions and all that smell good stuff. One of my favorite stores is bath and body works. I’m always in there mixing and matching, searching for the right stuff to take me away. I love candle, the list goes on when it come to my bubble baths. Oh and I have to have my music in the background. This is pretty cool, thanks for sharing
