Exercise regularly and remain fit. Never remain extra weight as it can create many problem including snoring. Perform some light exercises daily and never do any work outs during night especially before going to bed.
Avoid smoking and reduce alcohol consumption. Drink little alcohol 4 to 5 hours before going to bed. And always sleep on the side, which makes snoring lesser.
Consume 2 to 3 sips of olive oil before going to bed; this is an effective home remedy for snoring. This does not give immediate result, but reduce the sound to a great extent.
Follow a good sleep chart and sleep at fixed hours. Stick to the sleep chart to live a healthy life and this is the best home remedy.
Keep your bedroom neat and clean, sometimes unhygienic conditions may lead to snoring. Allergies also play the major role in aggravating the snoring, and therefore it should be treated as soon as possible.
Ideal sleeping position is sleeping on the side, never sleep on the back as this would increase the intensity of the sound.
In boiling water, add some sage and let it cool for few minutes. Before going to sleep, gargle with this water as it helps in reducing snoring.
Don’t eat heavy foods especially oily foods and spicy foods as this may increase the snoring problem.
