Old School Remedies: Part Two
Another remedy that in the older days was used as a cough syrup!

Ingredients
- 2 cup brown whiskey
- estimated 1 1/2 cups peppermints
- (should be around 30-40 of the small round peppermints)
- Melted down an mixed well with the warm whiskey.
You can pour the mixture into a mason jar for storage.
Tip: DO NOT LET THE MIXTURE COOL IN THE PAN WASH IT IMMEDIATELY!!!! IT WILL MAKE A HUGE MESS WHEN YOU TRY TO CLEAN!!!!
Don’t comsume more than 2 tablespoons!!! You might get a little tipsy!!!

I say this will keep, because of the alcohol. Perhaps you put some liqourish in it as well, that is a nice combination with the pepermint.
