For Burns: Aloe vera’s natural healing sap will do the trick. Break off a piece and gently rub on affected areas. Also, you can use an over-the-counter aloe vera cream. The plant has analgesic action that will relieve some of the pain. However, never try to use aloe vera if you are suffering from heart problems.

For arthritis: For people who suffer from rheumatoid arthritis, doctors suggest, they follow diligently a “fasting on nothing but the carrot juice” schedule. For the first week, fast on carrot juice for a day. Follow that by alternate fasting for two days on the second week, and three days during the third week (e.g., Monday, Wednesday and Friday). Just a warning; always consult your doctor before attempting any type of fasting.

For backache: If you are being bothered by backache, then a good remedy is by putting ice on the sore part. This will help reduce swelling and the strain on your back muscles. Another effective way to relieve the pain, is to try ice massage. All you have to do is to put an ice pack on the sore areas and massage the spot for at least seven to eight minutes. For best result,  try the process for three consecutive days.

For bruises: If you suffer from an injury and you think it might lead to bruises then an ice pack must be immediately applied to the affected area. Apply the ice pack at 16-minutes interval and continue this for 24 hours if you deem the injury will progress into a bruise.

For foot aches: Just get a piece of cloth put a few ice cubes then rub it over your tired feet for a couple of minutes. Ice acts as an anesthetic that can ease any inflammation.

For sinusitis: The best thing to do is to apply a hot compress/cold compress to the face . This will help open up clog nasal passages. For five minutes, press a towel from hot water on the and painful area, and press another towel from ice water and apply it for 30 seconds. The process must be done three times, ending with the cold compress.
