Solutions for Nausea

Nausea is a sense of discomfort in the stomach that can lead to dizziness and vomiting. It can have a variety of causes including pain and motion sickness. There are a number of simple remedies that you can try to put an end to nausea.
Stimulate the pressure point on each wrist. Find the point in the center of your wrist at a distance of three finger widths from the ring where you arm joins your hand. Hold each point with your thumb for 10 to 15 minutes.
If you frequently suffer from nausea, carry a small bottle of peppermint essential oil with you. Inhaling the oil can stop nausea instantly.
Enjoy a strong altoid made from real peppermint oil. Peppermints are often given after a meal to aide digestion. Peppermint is useful for nausea associated with sinus problems and related headaches.
Try a cup of peppermint tea.
Have a piece of ginger candy. It is a popular item in Asian groceries and ginger candy is increasing in popularity in health-conscious American grocery stores.
Drink ginger tea. Place a slice of fresh ginger in a cup of boiling water and let it steep for five minutes.
Drink real ginger ale. Artificial ginger flavoring will not have the same effect.
Take a standard dose of homeopathic Nux Vomica in 12C or 30C potency. It is particularly helpful in cases of indigestion due to over-indulging.
Be aware of any other symptoms that may accompany nausea. Nausea is usually relatively benign, but it may be a symptom of another health problem.
