Every Year It’s the Same Thing
It’s that time of year again; time to go get the flu shot, but why?
Well here we are at that time of year again, when everyone is getting the flu shot. It’s been on all the morning shows, like every other day, and it’s only going to get more and more frequent. You gotta get the flu shot or else you’re a bad parent and you’re kid is going to get all the other kids sick. I know I’ve talked about vaccinations before but every year it’s all over the news and it kills me that no one asks my big question. The million dollar question. If one kid does not get a flu shot goes to school and ends up catching the flu, why wouldn’t the kids WITH the shot NOT get sick? I mean that’s what the darn thing is for. And if they DO get sick, why the heck are we getting them in the first place? Supposedly there are hundreds of strains of the “virus” and you only get vaccinated for the strain they THINK will infect people on that particular year. The argument for the shots never made much sense to me. You have to get it so you don’t get everyone else sick. Well if everyone else has it then they won’t get sick. I mean come on people. I can’t be the only one who thinks this way!
Going along the same lines…They just had on the news the other day that schools are going to start handing out some sort of vaccination for lice. LICE people! My God I mean with all the diseases we are pumping into our kids each year by the time they’re 18 they are going to be a walking biohazard!
