Hello every one. I was inspired to write about this because of my sore neck. I had dance practice yesterday and then a show 2 hours after that so I had to do everything full out (no ½ stepping on the steps). There was a lot of head swinging and it didn’t start hurting me until I came home and went to sleep. I am afraid to lay my head down because it really hurts! I have found out a way to get over the sore neck though… (Read Below duh lol)

1)    Do not move too quickly: when responding to something. For example; you hear your name you would tend to turn quickly but play it cool and turn at a comfortable paste. (You may look silly but hey it’s going to help)

2)    Stretch your neck: Make sure that you often stretch your neck so your neck can get use to the stretching and start giving your muscles more vulnerability and the pain will eventually calm down

3)    Message: You do not necessarily need a message but wouldn’t it be nice to treat your neck to one. Have a little brother or sister? Give them a piece of candy and have them message your neck! (Great recession tip:))

4)    Do Not: When people get sore neck they tend to swirl their neck around to make the pain go away but that is not needed. You are tensing your muscles up and the soreness will not go away. Relax and play it cool. DO NOT DO THIS…

5)    Last But Not Least: That’s all! (lol) I hope this helps some of you out and thank you for reading.

  1. Ah, I suffer from neck pain, but tha’s because I spend a lot of time in front of the computer, and the computer screen hasn’t been maintained at eye level.
    One way to relieve pain and strengthen muscles would be to interlace your fingers and keep it behind your neck and then press the neck back so as to push the interlocked fingers.

I find a way that reduces a sore neck is to stretch it on a daliy basis.The reason necks usually get sore is from weakened muscles that create neck bans that gets tense and stressed and by stretching it strenghtens the muscles and releases the tension. Great article as always.I love the added humor!
