paracetamol is a derivative of para-aminophenol-acting analgesic and antipyretic . The action is similar analgesic phenacetin, antipyretic that is close to salicylates. Effect of anti-inflammatory is very weak, paracetamol, not being able to replace aspirin or other NSAIDs . It can be used however the mild, osteoarthritis , for pain relief. paracetamolcan be used in cases where aspirin is contraindicated: treatment simultaneously with anticoagulants or uricosuric , hemophilia or other disorders Blood disorders, gastro-intestinal disorders , including gastrointestinal intolerance toaspirin or other derivatives of salicylic acid . In the case of a chronic treatment with high doses of acetaminophen associated with anticoagulant dose adjustment is required of the latter. Analgesic action is due to inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis in the CNS. On the periphery is possible with inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis and action and other compounds that act on pain receptors, thus inhibiting transmission of pain sensation. Antipyretic effect is explained by the inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis in the thermo-regulating center in the hypothalamus, resulting in peripheral vasodilation, allowing a sharp loss of heat.
Tylenol Sinus associates a strong H1 antihistamine (clorfeniramina maleate) having a sympathomimetic decongestant (pseudoephedrine) and paracetamol, analgesic and antipyretic properties presenting. The combination gives this product a decongestant action on the airways upper and fighting while allowing the foot andpain from the flu. The three active components shows a good absorption after oral administration, is metabolized inthe liver and eliminated through the kidney .
Leaflet 125, 250 suppository: Pharmacokinetics: well absorbed orally, reaching the concentration of blood(Cmax) from 20 to 30 minutes and good absorption by the rectum. Spreading rapidly and relatively uniformly in all tissues of the body after oral and rectal administration. Metabolized in the liver, with elimination of metabolites in urine and about 3% unchanged. T1 / 2 = 2 hours.
Tackling the symptom of fever due to infection. Symptomatic treatment of pain of moderate headache, dental neuralgia, sciatic pain, arthralgia , dysmenorrhea, pain after some surgery , sprains, fractures and dislocations.
Dosage and Administration
In adults and children over 12 years, the usual dose is 500 mg every 6-8 hours (it will respect a minimum interval of 4 hours between doses). Do not exceed the maximum dose of 1g/ and 4g / 24 hours. For a long-term treatment, the maximum dose per day is reduced to 2.5 g. For higher doses the treatment will be performed under strict medical supervision. Children between 6 and 12 years: 250-500 mg every 6-8 hours. Children aged 3 to 6 years: 125-250 mg every 6-8 hours.
Tylenol Sinus: Adults: 3-6 tablets daily, divided into three doses (morning, noon and evening). Do not use more than 6 tablets / day and 2 tablets / outlet. Children between 5-10 years: 1-2 tablets per day (depending on age). Do not exceed the maximum dose of 2 tablets per day, between 10-15 years: 2-3 tablets per day (depending on age). Do not use more than three tablets per day. The children will not use more than one tablet a day. The tablets are given half an hour before meals.
Paracetamol 100: Children 1-6 years: 1-2 tablets (by age). Children over 6 years: 2-4 tablets (by age). The dose may be repeated, if necessary, 4 times / day.
Leaflet 125, 250 suppositories: children 6-12 months: one half suppository 125 mg three times daily, children 1-3 years: one suppository of 125 mg three times daily, children 3-7 years: one suppository of 250 mg 1-2 times per day, children 7-15 years: one 250 mg suppository 1-3 times / day. Preferably, the duration of treatment should not exceed 10 days.

As is administered by spoon or with 5 ml 5 ml graduated cap. Administered dose is dependent on patient age and weight, generally 10 to 15 mg / kg paracetamol once, up to 50 mg / kg as a total daily dose. Children under 6 months will receive in 3-4 divided doses every 70-100 mg (maximum daily dose. 350 mg). Children under 1 year 3-4 times / day 100 – 150 mg, max. 500 mg / day. Children under 3 years 3-4 times a day, 150-200 mg (max. 750 mg / day).Children under 6 years of 3-4 times / day for 200-300 mg (max 1000 mg / day). Children under 9 years 3 to 4 times / day for 300-500 mg (max 1500 mg / day). Children under 12 years of 3-4 or 400-600 mg (max 2000 mg / day).
Adolescents over 12 years 3-4 times a day every 500-1 000 mg (max. 4 g / day). Patients with hepatic or renal syndrome or Gilbert will be very low doses.
