Medicinal and Household Uses for Tea Tree Oil
Melaleuca Oil (Tea Tree) is made by Steaming the pine like needles of the Meleleuca tree.

Melaleuca Oil, more commonly known as Tee Tree oil is an essential oil that is native to New South Wales Australia. Tee Tree Oil has long been used for its antifungal and antiseptic properties, but it has many household uses as well. When my children were growing up it was used for everything from cleaning sick rooms to fighting acne.

Toothache

Tee Tree oil can be used in humidifiers instead of eucalypts oil or menthol.

Add 1 tsp of Tea Tree Oil to a warm bath at the first signs of cold/flu. The oil will induce sweating and help to prevent the cold/flu from completely developing.

Tea Tree oil is one essential oil I am never without. I put it on my toothbrush each morning before brushing and then on the floss as well. I have adult acne and I find it works wonders on ‘flare ups’ overnight.
