Depression and its’ causes.
Depression is a strong sense of hopelessness, sadness and lack of self-esteem. Many people feel sad, but when one depressed, feeling low, affecting the normal activities.
Causes of depression
The causes of depression are not fully understood. Many factors can help, such as loss of a loved one (or
children, a disorder relationships with their friends), an illness, stress, family problems (for example, parents
divorce) and problems at school (including bullying). Some Children are more resistant to problems than others, so while some can handle them, others are depressed.
Genetics (family burden) may partly explain why some people are more prone to depression. It can also be
explain why the levels of certain brain chemicals in Depression disrupted.
Who is at risk of depression?
In early 1980, many psychiatrists believed that children were unable to be depressed because they lacked
emotional maturity. However, most children feel despair, sadness and lack of self esteem at times.
Two percent of children under 12 have significant depression in adolescence increases to five percent – which
at least one child, depressed, in every classroom.
More than half of adults who are depressed, they say can find in history, the first symptoms before the
