Less Stress, More Strength!
Taking a look at your daily life to see if changes can be made to reduce excessive stress, in order to be healthier, happier and more productive.
Sometimes it may seem that everything in the world
is going wrong at the same time. Not just on a daily
basis, but weekly, and even monthly. It just keeps
getting worse and worse.
What the dickens to do? First of all, sit down and take
inventory. Is there something that you have been
doing that could be changed, so that your life wouldn’t
be so stressed? Is there a schedule change or an adjust-
ment in your routine, which would give you more time,
with serious consideration to your mental health?
Some stress is good, but too much can do serious damage.
A change in routine, to include a short relaxation period
might be just what is needed to modify the negative things
which occur when you are rushing and trying to accomplish
too many things at the same time.
Other instances might just need a change of perspective.
You might be feeling that you are being put upon, when that
may not be the case at all. But you then put unnecessary
stress on yourself which is not good. So rethinking the
situation may be what is necessary to lessen that negative
thought process, and free you to concentrate on reality
and actual things that need to be done and how they can
be done effectively.
Taking a vacation never hurts, or just pamper yourself,
take a yoga class, take a walk to nowhere, smell the roses, sit
in the park and feed the pigeons. In other words, stop and
admire the petunias. Move off the rat-race track for a while.
Once recharged, you will be more focused and your life will
be better served and daily tasks made easier, with less hassle,
because you will have much more patience and more endurance.
Which means less stress, more strength.
Take care.
