Live in The Present

It is about living in the present and not thinking about the past or future.If you think about past, you might feel guilty or sad and if you think about future, you might feel anxious or scared. The happiest moment is the present.

All of us are busy and we have a very tight schedule. We don’t live in the present but rush through just to get the work done.For me, I had the same problem. I would be doing assignments but I would be wondering about the projects I have to do.When I was doing the projects, I would be thinking about something else.So, I was under pressure to complete it any cost. I thought that I would enjoy after the tasks are done. However, after the tasks are done, I wasn’t happy or enjoying. My life has been pretty under pressure and my heart would be beating faster. At times, I was worried that I might get worried. This was the problem which I faced during the first semester of master studies.

Now I am in second semester and I used to feel the pressure when I was projects and assignments to do. I was rushing through the things this semester. This wasn’t doing me good. So, I wanted to end this problem. Suddenly, I remembered a phrase from the book called ” The Power of Now.” The author says about living in the present and not thinking about the past or the future. He also mentions that the happiness can be found within us and cannot be found outside. The happiness could be found by living in the present. Hence forth, I am trying to follow this advice from the book and I am much calmer now. I concentrate on bread or movement of my hands while eating. I just concentrate on food I am eating. I don’t think about when I am going to do or should be doing. I do project and I just concentrate on it. I simply concentrate on the present and my life has been much calmer and enjoyable. 

I live in the present and that has made life more happier and enjoyable.
