My Three Steps on Forgetting Your Problem

We all have problems. Here are some steps to take that weight off our shoulders.

Obviously, I have been experiencing some difficulties in my life, student life in particular, because no matter how embarrassing for the world to know, I flunked two of my subjects. Yeah, I wanted all of you to know that because I will not contain it inside me and explode later on. Now, I think that we need to do other stuffs to be able to somehow forget or to take a quick escape from reality. These are the things I thought that might alleviate the agony of our status quo:

  1. Turn To Poetry

    Play your instrument, take a pen and write your song or simply write anything. If you’re a musician or an aspiring one, why don’t you grab that good old axe and start strumming and rocking in front of the mirror with your favorite band playing in the background. That would make you feel a little joy especially when you know how to play the song in the background. And then, take a moment of silence and let your fingers do the dancing. Play the melody that your hands want to play and start writing. This will make you feel relieved, I’m telling you. Writing is another form of expressing yourself and who knows, you are probably writing your road to stardom.

  2. Play Your Sport

    If you are itching about thinking of your problems, you might want to think of going to the gym, basketball court or even to the billiard hall and start stretching those cold muscles and then play. This would make your blood running in your vein down to the capillaries of your inner body. Healthy and at the same time, it provides you leisure and recreation. Your problems would be forgotten even just for a while.

  3. Make Time For Music

    For me, music is the greatest invention of human kind along with language and communications. If I remember my history right, ancient people have been making melodies and songs to be able to ask for their gods to forgive or bless them. In our time, music is used for soothing and relaxing our self, of course with the right choice of music. Some likes to listen to rock music in forgetting their problems and to get some emotional energy from it. Right now, my iPod holds music from the band Mae which makes some pretty strong and nice songs. You might want to consider them too.

I chose these three steps because it focuses on our very self. You have physical, emotional and intellectual activities that can surely take your problems away and make you feel better. Feeling better is the best remedy or cure for the problems you are currently in. Don’t forget, following these three steps will not take away your problems right away, these steps will make you feel strong and ready to face your challenges.
