The Most Bizarre Medical Conditions You Probably Didn’t Know Exist
Mental illnesses or mental disorders are taking big toll on the daily life of human beings thereby causing countless hours of depression, stress, delusion, anxiety and unwanted medical condition. You’ve to accept the facts that a person with a mental phenomenon stated herein can be just mentally ill enough to be marked by episodes of bizarre behaviors and strange expressions.
L’esprit de l’Escalier

L’esprit de l’Escalier or esprit d’escalier (stairway wit) is an awesome phrase that describes the sense of thinking of a clever comeback the individuals have as they walk away from the situation where they should have been delivered and hence “the stair”. In a simple meaning, this phrase refers to “being wise after the event” and is usually accompanied by a regret for not having thought of the riposte at the perfect moment when it was suitable or needed. It always describes any witty, a riposte to an insult, or clever remark that comes to mind too late that the things they wish to say after an argument is over, almost when they are on the “staircase” leaving the scene of the encounter.
Folie à Deux

Folie à deux (in French), or in English translating as “shared psychotic disorder” (especially refers to delusional belief or paranoid), is a rare psychiatric condition shared by two or, occasionally, more people with a close association or relationship (as siblings or man and wife); or a close emotional tie with another person or persons, who already have an established delusional belief or idea. This mental disturbance is not accounted for the direct physiological effects of a substance, including drug abuse, or a general medication condition.
Frotteurism

Frotteurism is a mental disorder or a paraphilia involving intense, recurrent sexual urges, behaviors or fantasies of, or/ and rubbing and touching, especially the genitals against another person or a non-consenting person (a person who doesn’t consent to this act) for a purpose of sexual excitement or gratification. The person with this disorder has normally experienced either occupational impairment or personal distress. This behavior can repeatedly occur for at least 6 months and the person being rubbed is a victim (in most cases the victims are females). The primary focus of frottage (the behavior of touching or rubbing against the other person) is by rubbing one’s genitals against the clothing, thighs, legs, buttocks or body of a non-consenting person. The other commonly practiced alternative is by rubbing one’s hands over the victim’s breasts or genitals or any part of the body. This behavior always takes place in crowded places such as busy sidewalks, elevators, malls, escalators and in the public transportation vehicles (such as buses, trains).

I have heard of most of these, but come on,
L’esprit de l’Escalier can hardly be classified as a mental disorder. Everyone has thought of a witty comeback after the fact, and wished they had said such and such.
The French merely have an elegant term for it that does not exist in English, much like the German term Schadenfreude, meaning the act of taking pleasure in the negative events of anther’s life. We have all done it, does not make it a mental disorder.

I think mental diseases are the ‘heaviest’ diseases since it take most energy not only physically but also emotionally. They need great strength.
