Three Steps to Success, Focus and Concentration

Okay! So, you are forgetting things. You are not able to see things in the right perspective. You are not able to finish you work on time. You cannot even finish a sentence. Your thoughts are interrupted by other unconnected thoughts. You have no continuity. You have no focus. You can’t concentrate. You are restless. You are sleepless. You are irritable. You are angry, for no reason. You are frustrated. You have depression. Your whole life is in shambles. You find yourself doing nothing at times. You can’t place the phrase "Having a good time". You have no enjoyment any more. "Fun" is simply not there! Everything is negative.

You are irritable. You are angry, for no reason. You are frustrated. You have depression. Your whole life is in shambles. You find yourself doing nothing at times. You can’t place the phrase “Having a good time”. You have no enjoyment any more. “Fun” is simply not there! Everything is negative.

And you are concerned. You should be. Workplace does not tolerate this. Your career is at stake. Personal life will be in ruins. Relationships are in danger.  So what do you do?

What is happening to you is the disease called “Pressures of the Modern living”. Everybody has it. Some handle it differently and are successful. You too can do it!

You are where you are because you put yourself there, knowingly or unknowingly. You will get yourself out of there and put yourself at a place which you want, knowingly. Your destiny is of your making. You have to take responsibility. Acknowledge this and you are halfway through.

Step 1: Clear the clutter. Start now! Clear the clutter in your office, on your desk, in your home and in your mind. Yes, you got it! Organise! Organize everything in your office, at home and in your relationships. Hard work, huh?  It’s got to be done partner! You want success remember? You need to work on it. Just do it. Step by step. Just hang in there! Don’t give up! You will get there.

Organising is the first foundation of success. Organise to make work easy for yourself. Knowing where things are and finding them there saves a lot of time and energy. This time and energy can be used for success. Remember that.

Plan the path to your success. Make a list. Do an honest analysis of your strong and weak points. Strengthen your strong points further. Work on your weak points to make them your strong points.

Remove things which are not required. Just dispose them! They take up space better occupied by things you need most. They are the hurdles in your path. They are the things which link you to disappointment of the past.  Get rid of them. You will be much better off!

  1. For me….the organizing the clutter helps me the most. If, for example, I have a cluttered, messy house…..it seems to make my mind cluttered and messy. Great post.
