Why is Self Esteem Important?
Self esteem is the most important mental aspect of health.
Self esteem is an essential part of mental, emotional and even physical health. Since self esteem can simply be defined as how you think of yourself, a person with low self esteem would be more likely to inflict pain on themselves or others then someone with high self esteem. Self esteem can also be a synonym for, how you believe other see you that directly affects your emotional health. That is were mental disorders such as sociopaths could develop from if left untreated. However low self esteem does not affect mental health as much as high self esteem, this is where get our megalomaniacs from. So self esteem is extremely important it helps regulate mental, emotional, and physical health.

Having self esteem helps us to rise above other peoples negative feelings and thoughts.
