We all know a saying “An Apple a day keeps doctor away”.
The phrase ” An Apple a day keeps doctor away” is known by many of us through out the world. But how many of us really know the real worth of an apple. I would like to share some of the important advantages of an apple which helps us avoiding to see a doctor.

Apple helps in reducing cholesterol levels as it contains antioxidant called phytochemicals which helps in reducing the Cholesterol levels in our body.
It contains certain falvonoids reduces the risk of cancer by 50% which is proved by the National Cancer Institute these flavonoids also helps in keeping your lungs healthier.
Apple is a big source of fibre which helps in digesting our food easily and in return helps in reducing our weight. It also contains Phytonutrients which helps to enhance good functioning of immune system, and fighting against and removing the bacterias and viruses from our body.
Eating apple daily is also beneficial for our eyes and visual ability, which prevents and cures cataracts.

Apple also helps in good lungs functioning, which avoids the risk of asthma or bronchitis and also any type of cancers.
Apple is rich with two kinds of fibres the soluble and the insoluble ones. The Insoluble one is known as the dietary fiber which helps in digestion and the Soluble one helps when you have diarrhea.

The most important part of an apple is the skin of the apple which many of us don’t eat. But according to some research it has being proved that the skin is the most nutritious thing in the apple. It contains Quercetin which is a very strong antioxidant.
