Curse of the Fast Food

  Don’t you just hate the fact that there are so many choices of fast food restaurants to go to? When you see a fast food place you stop there to get a quick burger, fries, shake, taco, or any type of food people like. You’re getting off late from work and you know you don’t feel like cooking when you get home, so you stop and get something fast because it is so inexpensive and so readily available and most importantly you don’t have to get out of the car to get it. Maybe you want to get something from the McDonald’s dollar menu, or you want to get some of those 79 cent tacos from Taco Bell. Knowing these foods are not good for you, but you can’t help but stop and get something fast and filling, especially when it costs a dollar or less.

   Fast food places are the largest suppliers of unhealthy foods. When you go to a drive thru at a fast food place their menus give you so many choices of unhealthy foods you can pick from, it’s ridiculous. Choices of a regular cheese burger meal, double cheese burger or a triple cheese burger meal and if you want you can get a medium, or a super size fry to go with it. Let us not forget there’s always extras, especially on the dollar menu. You can get a 99 cent chicken sandwich, a 99 cent jr. cheese burger, two tacos for a dollar, or a small vanilla milkshake.

   It’s a fact, fast food restaurants are everywhere and no matter where you live  you can easily find one. They’re near churches, grocery stores, and gas stations, etc. One of the biggest places to carry large amounts of these fast food facilities would be the mall. Because they know that there’s always a large volume of people walking around in the mall. People who go there to shop, people that go there to see the movies, or ones who simply just want to browse around. The malls know they’re going to attract thousands of people everyday, so they make sure that the curse of the fast food is alive and well and available at a mall near you.
